Vosh International is a young trading company based in Ho Chi Minh City, specialising in the design, development and production of bags and garments. Our main markets are the USA and Europe, and our customers are centered around the sports and outdoor recreation product lines, including water sports, skating, snow sports, hiking, walking and even paintball! As we are entering a period of strong growth, we are expanding those product lines into more general recreation, lifestyle and fashion markets.
Vosh was started by Tony Vo, an American Vietnamese, and grew out of an idea that he could produce better water sports product himself to satisfy his needs as a pro-racer on the jet ski circuit in California. He turned to the country of his birth, Vietnam, as a source and started production on a few accessories for watercraft industry. He also combined this with his previous job as a bag designer and so the idea of a company specialising in sourcing production in Vietnam was born.
Vosh now works with some of the most high profile names in both brands and retail globally. Our aim is to provide great service that eases the process of developing and producing in Vietnam, backed with a strong commitment to new design and R&D.
After the trade agreement was signed between the U.S and Vietnam, Vosh was able to manufacture and ship directly to the USA for the first time. The first three years were spent working as an exclusive source of packs for Hurley Internation all for design manufacturing and importing. After Nike bought our Hurley Vosh decided to branch out. Currently Vosh designs directly and manufactures for brands in various industries such as powersports (O’Neal, Arai Helmets), fashion (Ambiguous, Ecko Unlimited), surf & skate (Zoo York, Split, Ocean Pacific), and paintball (Evil, Empire, Spyder). Currently we serve as an exclusive buying office for an outdoor apparel company, White Sierra. As far as mass retailer segment is concerned, some of our early projects were sold to Sam’s Club and other chains with projects including massage table bags and bags for the Razor scooter craze. Currently, we are working on setting up a factory specifically to run Dickies product.
Currently our Vietnam office and sample department are just minutes away from the Ho Chi Minh Airport. Our core factory is about an hour away, which is run by Tony’s aunt. We employ about 126 workers now. 65% of our work is still CMT for the Korean factory.
